A team of Wind River employees recently volunteered at the Madison Ronald McDonald House , and made dinner for the families staying there. During our visit we toured their beautiful facility, and learned more about the Ronald McDonald House’s mission to provide a “home-away-from-home” for families while a child they love receives treatment in a Madison area hospital.
It’s easy to see why so many individuals and companies in the Madison area are big supporters of the Madison Ronald McDonald House. Thank you to the Ronald McDonald House staff for spending time with our group, answering our questions and allowing us to be part of the work you do. We can’t wait to volunteer again!
Also, a big thank you to the kids who attended Wind River’s “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work” event on March 24th – Noah Ford, Amanda Revolinski, Daphne Buan and Drew Buan. These kids assembled 18 activity bags for Wind River to donate to the Ronald McDonald House. The bags were filled with coloring and activity books, small toys, travel-sized games, and lots of other fun stuff, and will be given to children staying at the Ronald McDonald House. Our “Junior Wind River Employees” had a good time putting the bags together, and the Ronald McDonald House was very happy to receive them!
